Summary
Owelo helps people share the cost of subscriptions. We collect the minimum personal data needed to create accounts, run plans, and process payments. We don’t sell personal data.
Information we collect
- Account info: name and email from our auth or Sign in with Apple.
- App data: plans you create or join, invite status, membership, and payment status.
- Technical data: device and diagnostic information to improve reliability and prevent fraud.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay with Apple Pay, Apple Pay authorizes the payment and Stripe processes it. Card details are handled by the payment processors and are not stored on Owelo servers.
How we use data
- Operate core features: plans, invites, recurring payments, notifications.
- Provide support and respond to requests.
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
Sharing
We share limited data with service providers only as needed to run the app (e.g., Stripe for payments, Supabase for hosting and authentication). We don’t sell personal data or allow providers to use it for advertising without consent.
Retention
We keep personal data while your account is active or as needed to comply with law. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
Your choices
- Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account).
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing support.
Children
Owelo isn’t intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here and update the effective date.
